Adaptive Dance
This class will include creative movement instruction for individuals with a range of disabilities that is individualized and includes accommodations. Through stretching, across-the-floor steps, guided movement exercises, mini-lessons in musicality and timing, and dance games, students will become confident and comfortable in moving their bodies and expressing themselves. Potential accommodations could include: dancing from a chair, using needed sensory toys, visual supports, and much more!
Ballet
Ballet at Synergy Studios is designed to enhance the grace, strength, and artistry of figure skaters. This class incorporates ballet techniques and exercises tailored to the specific needs of figure skaters, focusing on developing balance, flexibility, and fluidity of movement. Skaters will learn fundamental ballet positions, movements, and sequences that can improve their on-ice performance, posture, and overall presentation. The class aims to cultivate poise, elegance, and precision in figure skaters, providing a solid foundation for artistic expression and performance on the ice. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced skater, Ballet offers a unique opportunity to elevate your skating skills through the beauty and discipline of this classical dance form.
Ballet & Stretch
Ballet/Stretch is a combination class that combines Ballet Technique with flexibility exercises. This unique class merges elegant ballet movements with beneficial stretching routines. Participants can enhance their posture, strength, and flexibility by incorporating ballet techniques. The class focuses on improving overall body awareness and control while striking a balance between strength building and relaxation through stretching exercises.
Classical Stretch
Master the basics of correct stretching to enhance alignment, flexibility, and reduce the risk of injury. Every student will progress at their own pace under attentive supervision.
Ballettics
Ballettics is a dance-based approach to off-ice conditioning. This class combines a heart-pumping Jazz warmup, core-strengthening exercises, deep stretching, and technical figure skating combinations across the floor. The focus of Ballettics is to develop proper alignment while building flexibility and strength.
Adult Ballet
Our Adult Ballet Class offers an inviting and supportive environment for dancers of all levels, from complete beginners to those with previous experience. This class focuses on developing proper technique, increasing flexibility, and building strength through traditional ballet exercises. Participants will learn the fundamentals of ballet, including barre work, center floor exercises, and across-the-floor combinations. Emphasis is placed on alignment, posture, and fluidity of movement, helping to improve overall body awareness and grace.
